Virgin Trains is long-distance rail operator proudly serving six of the UK’s largest cities, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh on the West Coast Mainline. It has provided a vital link from Liverpool to the Capital since 1997, taking only 2 hours and 7minutes.
Recently Virgin Trains worked together with IFB2016 to run a ‘Brain Train,’ event which saw 16 small to medium enterprises from across the Northern Powerhouse and West Midlands receive exclusive mentoring from the likes of Wayne Hemmingway (Red or Dead), Alexis Liming (Virgin Start-ups) and Scott Wilkinson (Virgin Media), while travelling direct from Liverpool to London at 125mph.
Virgin Trains is proud to continue to support IFB2016 after the success of IFB2014 and hopes to continue to engage with small to medium enterprises throughout the festival.
Gary Iddon, General Manager, North West and Wales, Virgin Trains: "We're delighted to support next year's International Festival of Business, which is sure to be a fantastic showcase for all Liverpool and the wider region has to offer. It is a city we have been proud to serve for the best part of 20 years and look forward to welcoming those attending the event on-board. Rail travel is increasingly the first choice of the business community and we are committed to working closely with them to make our service even better."
