IFB2016 TRANSLATES IINTO SUCCESS FOR NORTH WEST BUSINESS

North West translation and international tendering services company Cracker 123 has secured over 20 serious leads that it believes will translate into deals as a result of attending IFB2016.

The company, which has headquarters in Stockport and has a stand at the festival, offers access to public sector contracts from across the world all in one place. Cracker 123 allows companies to submit a tender in English and it is automatically translated into the required language at the touch of a button.

Cracker 123 has witnessed global interest for its services at IFB2016, with firm interest expressed from companies as far afield as China, Germany and South Africa.

The company has also agreed a verbal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a South African IT services company, which is interested in using the company’s tendering services for contracts within various associated states in Southern Africa – South Africa alone has 11 national languages.

Paul Horan, Director of Cracker 123, said: “IFB2016 has been a fantastic platform for the company to make connections and raise awareness of the business and our services. We’ve secured 20 serious leads that we’re confident will translate into tangible deals and we’re delighted with the level of interest in our services.

“Our translation and tendering services really give businesses the edge when they’re competing on an international playing field. Our product means that companies can bid for a contract in another language and process a tender, without speaking a word of the language – that’s a brilliant advantage, and will be particularly relevant now, for British companies competing for European and global contracts.

“Having access to a number of international delegations and visitors during the festival has definitely helped us to boost global awareness and understanding of our product and we look forward to securing more leads and seeing those mature into deals over the last week of IFB2016.”

Liverpool Mayor, Joe Anderson, said: “Innovative, resourceful companies like Cracker 123 that help businesses tap into and access global markets are a perfect fit for IFB2016. This is a company with a very strong proposition and we’re delighted to see a business from the North West attracting such strong international interest.

“IFB2016 provides a great opportunity for UK businesses to mix with a huge range of international companies from a diverse variety of sectors  - providing a rich global melting pot that enables connections to be made, leads to be developed, and deals to be done, right on our doorstep.”
