Rhett Workman oversees the company’s International and Philadelphia Corporate Real Estate, Facilities and Government Affairs matters. In Philadelphia, he is responsible for coordinating airline views on the Capacity Enhancement Program, the annual budget and capital improvement programs and coordinating discussions on these matters with the business and political community. Internationally, he covers similar issues for Asia, Canada and Europe.
Mr. Workman is an attorney whose credentials include memberships in the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, the Pennsylvania Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. Prior to joining US Airways, he was the Director of International Affairs for Airlines for America in Washington, D.C., the principal trade association for the U.S. airline industry. Previous to that, Mr. Workman worked as an associate a Washington, D.C. based law firm specializing in telecommunications, transportation and energy law.
Mr. Workman graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor’s degree in History and English from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama. He has a Master of Arts degree in English from Duke University and a Juris Doctorate, also from Duke University.
