Chris Maguire is the co-owner and editor of tech magazine BusinessCloud.
During his 25-year career in journalism, Maguire has won several national awards and worked for papers including the Daily Mail and Yorkshire Evening Post.
He’s been an editor for more than 10 years, transforming the Chorley and Leyland Guardian from one of the country’s worst performing papers into one of the fastest growing.
Maguire spent more than four years in charge of the North West Business Insider between 2012-16 and interviewed the likes of Sir Richard Branson; Chancellor George Osborne; Dave Whelan; Fred Done; Simon Arora; Sir Terry Leahy; Prof Steve Peters; Lord Digby Jones and former Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.
An accomplished public speaker and events host, Maguire is passionate about business and joined forces with tech entrepreneur Lawrence Jones in 2016 to launch tech magazine BusinessCloud, which aims to demystify tech for a business audience.
Away from work Maguire is the chairman of Twincess, a charitable trust set up by a friend whose twin daughters were born with Down’s Syndrome at odds of 2 million-1. Twincess aims to change people’s perceptions of Down’s.
